Movement Basics Classes
Movement Basics classes are 45 minute classes focused on the beginner dancer, supporting the building blocks of the fundamental skills necessary in each genre to feel confident and comfortable in any dance scenario.

Class Descriptions
Ballet Basics
This class is meant for the development of basic ballet technique through exercises at the barre, center work, and across the floor. This class is ment for the never-even dancer.
Contemporary
A fusion of modern, jazz, and ballet, this style explores the versitility of each genre mixed with emotional connection to the music through a well-rounded technical warm up and fun, expressive combinations.
All levels welcome.
Contemporary Partnering
In this Contemporary Partnering Basics class, you will learn to connect with a partner, build trust, and understand some basics of contemporary partnering - weight sharing, counterbalance, momentum, and verbal and nonverbal communication. All levels welcome.
Due to the nautre of this class we recommend registering for the full month. Drop-ins are unavailable for this class
Heels
Channel your sultry side with this confidence boosting heels class. Each class will begin with a warm up and stretch, followed by across the floor progressions to practice heels techniques, and finish with a sexy and fun jazz funk dance combination. This class will go in deep to explore our connection to music, dance lines, grooves, self love, plus more. Each class will build on the last and it is recommended to attend all 4 classes. This class is a mixed level class.
Hip Hop
This class is meant for the development and refinement of basic ballet technique through exercises at the barre, center work, and across the floor. This class is a mixed level class.
Intermediate Ballet
This class is meant for the development and refinement of basic ballet technique through exercises at the barre, center work, and across the floor. This class is a mixed level class.
Performance Basics
This Performance Basics class is a guide to refining your performance skills, a how-to on gaining confidence in choreography, and how to take your dancing from great to AWESOME for the stage. This is the perfect class to help prep for auditions and any upcoming performance. This class is a mixed level class.
Jazz
This class will review the basics of jazz technique and terminology while developing strength and flexibility, dynamic, rhythmic movement quality, and personal style with focus on proper technique and alignment and musicality. This class is a mixed level class.

This class will introduce the basics of jazz technique and terminology while developing the building blocks of strength and flexibility, dynamic, rhythmic movement quality, and personal style with focus on proper technique, alignment and musicality.
Scottish
Scottish Highland dancing is an energetic and very technical dance style that involves stamina, agility, mobility, and the right technique. Learn these skills this summer through fun sequences that includes movement similar to ballet - jumps, footwork, and arm placement This series runs June thru August. All levels welcome.
Tap
This tap class will get your heart rate up and keep you smiling while exploring rhythms through percussive movement. We will start at the barre, move center then across the floor, finally finishing class with a fun tap phrase bound to keep your toes tapping for hours. This class is a mixed level class.
