POLICIES & PROCEDURES

COVID-19 Studio Policies

The following guidelines will be continuously reevaluated and updated according to the latest CDC and government guidelines. Forty106 Dance Project reserves the right to be hold a higher level of standard in order to maintain a safe and healthy environment. 

Please make sure you obtain and sign a hard copy of the COVID-19 Liability Waiver prior to engaging in any classes, master classes, workshops, or projects with Forty106 Dance Project. 

Arrival Procedures

Please arrive to the studio about 5 - 10 minutes early.  You are asked to arrive dressed and ready to go in order to limit the number of people lingering in the lobby area. 

Masks are required upon entry of the buidling. Please cover both your nose and mouth. Unfortunately, any dancer who does NOT have a mask will not be able to enter the building or particiapte in class. If you have a medical condition that exempts you from wearing a mask, please notify the studio at least 24 hours in advanced to attending class. 

Upon entry into the studio, dancers are required to wash their hands for at least 20 seconds as per the CDC guidelines. 

To minimize exposure please maintain a minimum of a 6ft distance between you and others. 

Classroom Procedures

Class sizes are limited to 7 dancers.

Dancers and teachers are required to wear masks at all times while in the studio.

Dancers will dance in a 6x6 ft square in order to maintain social distancing.

Water bottles, dance shoes, and required dance accessories are the only personal items allowed in the studio.  

Please no physical contact among students at anytime. 

Sharing of water bottles, and other personal items is prohibited. 

Cleaning/Safety Procedures

Ballet barres, stair railing, floors (when necessary), sounds system, and other highly touched surfaces will be cleaned and disenfected between classes.

Illness Procedures

If you have a new cough, fever, or are feeling sick (sick for any reason), PLEASE STAY HOME. 

If you have been in contact with someone who has been sick, a new feve or cough, PLEASE STAY HOME

Upon entering the studio, dancers and staff will be screened for signs of COVID-19 prior to being permitted into the classroom. 

A dancer and/or staff member with a temerapture that reads 99.4F on a thermal/inferred thermomitor will be asked to go home.
